Requires a High School Diploma/GED or specialized vocational training, and three (3) months experience in volume food prepara-tion and cooking; to include cycle menu planning, purchasing and inventory, food demonstration, and ability to communicate effectively and teach in the classroom and parent and staff training. Must have excellent demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written, be computer literate and possess the ability to relate to children. The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Human Resources is recruiting for: HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST HR-18-124 regular full-time. Will be responsible for assisting the Human Resource Manager with the administrative and operational function of the Human Resources Department. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, em-ployee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation recruit-ment/employment, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) such as Springbrook & Employee Navigator, HR Access database and employment law compliance. The Nez Perce Tribe Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) is recruiting for: LEGAL ASSISTANT II HR-18-126 full-time regular. OLC’s role is to provide legal counsel and advice to the Nez Perce Tribal Execu-tive Committee, the governing body of the Tribe, and the Tribe’s department/programs. The ideal candi-date will be a team player and will have sound judgement, accompanied by excellent research, writing, and computer software skills. Must have ten (10) years of experience working for a high volume law firm. Experience working with Indian tribes or tribal organizations is preferred. The Nez Perce Tribe Environmental Restoration and Waste Management (ERWM) is recruiting: HAZARDOUS WASTE SPECIALIST HR-18-127 full-time regular. The ERWM program’s role is to protect the Tribe’s treaty-reserved right at the Hanford Site in the state of Washington, regulate air quali-ty on the Tribe’s Reservation in the state of Idaho, and oversee emergency response planning on the Reservation. The ideal candidate will be a team player; will have sound judgement, accompanied by excellent research, writing, and communication skills; the ability to analyze complex factual, legal, and policy issues; the ability to delve deeply into environmental strategies and projects related to the Tribe’s interests at the Handford Site; and the ability to respond to a wide array of environmental issues that require prompt and accurate analysis. The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Information Systems is recruiting for: CABLE TECHNICIAN III HR-18-128 full-time regular. The position will be four (4), ten (10) hour days; Monday Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work holidays. To provide support and installation of technological ca-bles and telecommunication hardware. Works with a general outline of work to be performed developing work methods and sequences under direct supervision of the Telecommunication Technician. Duties may also include providing project level supervision and management as well as performing technical labor applications of fieldwork. The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Education /Students for Success is recruiting for: PREVENTION OUTREACH WORKER HR-18-129 full-time regular. Requires excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to implement the comprehensive prevention outreach objectives for the program’s multiple funding sources. Responsible for education presentations and education materials development using tribal specific messages/imagery and available tribal specific data on alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs (ATOD), with special emphasis on impact of commercial tobacco use on tribal populations and under-standing of traditional tobacco values. Assists with community outreach, partnership development, and compliance of the cooperative agreement or contracts.
